We’re heading back to Danlí, Honduras this Saturday with a team of six. On this trip, we’ll be painting the school—including the new computer lab—and helping repair one or more homes in the community. These projects will be done side by side with our Honduran family. We’re especially looking forward to painting the school alongside some of the students, teachers, and parents. I’m sure we’ll drink plenty of Coca-Cola and share some fond memories by the end.
We’re also grateful to be joined by two young women from World Resources Group, who will have the opportunity to work with us and practice their English. A big thanks to our friend Donovan for making it possible for them to join us.
The people in the community are thankful for those who come. One person said, “You walk in our mud and come to our houses.” It means a lot to them that others would come, listen to their stories, work alongside them, and share meals together.
Thank you for your prayers—we’ll be praying for you, too. And thank you for your continued love for this community.
