We are excited to invite you to be part of a mission trip to the Danlí community in Honduras, where we have the opportunity to serve alongside families living around the local trash dump. This mission trip is about working together with the people in the community. It’s a chance for lasting impact, share the love of Christ, and experience the personal transformation that comes through service and relationship with others.
Mission Details:
• Dates: Depart February 22, return 1 March
• Location: Danlí, Honduras
• Project Focus: Working together with the community to : expand the solar water project, paint a classroom, paint and install a community playground, support the new computer lab and nightly meetings with the community
• Cost : $700 plus airfare (Includes all your food, transportation in Honduras and housing)
What You Can Expect:
• Hands-on involvement with the community’s ongoing projects
• Opportunities to connect with and encourage children and families
• Daily prayer, worship, and reflection on how God is working in this beautiful yet challenging environment
• A chance to experience the culture of Honduras and its natural beauty
We will be working alongside people from the community. No worries if you do not speak Spanish, we will have interpreters for you, and you will find how much communication happens without words! We will be staying at one of the nicest hotels in Danli where we will be able to relax and process the day’s events. Meals and water will be provided that are safe for American travelers.
